According to the Associated Press, Beyoncé is planning to remove a word from her song, “Heated,” off her brand new album that was released on Friday.

The song, “Heated” used the word “spaz” which is considered to be “a derogatory reference to the medical term spastic diplegia,” which is a form of cerebral palsy, according to the AP. The song was co-written by rapper, Drake and several others.

Beyoncé’s spokesperson told the AP that the word is going to be replaced and the word was “not used intentionally in a harmful way.”

A few weeks ago, Lizzo also changed the lyrics in her song, “Grrrls” in order to remove the same word after disability advocates complained about the lyrics.
