The Texas Department of Transportation has announced the following lane closures in the Cy-Fair area this weekend. For the most up-to-date information, visit www.my290.com.
Freeway closures
Hwy. 290 westbound main lanes from FM 529 to West Road
Total closure from 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.
Drivers can detour to the westbound road. Due to a separate frontage road closure, drivers will then need to detour right on Steepleway Drive, left on West Road to the westbound frontage road and re-enter main lanes after North Eldridge Parkway.
Hwy. 290 westbound from Mason Road to Bauer Road
Two inside lanes will be closed nightly from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. through the morning Monday, Aug. 13.
Hwy. 290 westbound from Bingle Road to Pinemont Drive
Two inside lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
Hwy. 290 eastbound at Pinemont Drive
One inside lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
Hwy. 290 eastbound entrance ramp from Gessner Road
Closed from 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, to noon Sunday, Aug. 12.
Hwy. 290 westbound entrance ramp from Jones Road
Total closure until further notice.
Hwy. 290 eastbound entrance ramp from Huffmeister Road
Total closure until further notice.
I-10 director connector ramp to Hwy. 290 westbound and Loop 610 northbound
Total closure from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
Drivers can detour to Loop 610 southbound and U-turn at Woodway/Memorial to access to Loop 610 northbound main lanes.
Hwy. 290 eastbound from the south fork of Cole Creek to Pinemont Drive
One outside lane will be closed nightly from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. through the morning of Monday, Aug. 20.
Frontage road closures
Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road from east of Mason Road to Mason Road
One outside lane will be closed until further notice.
Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road from Steepleway Drive to West Road
Total closure from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13.
Drivers can detour right on Steepleway Drive and left on West road to the westbound frontage road.
Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road from the Telge Road entrance ramp to Huffmeister Road
One inside lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13.
