Authorities are searching for Adre Baroz, 26, after they found the remains of three people on two properties while searching them Nov. 10 for stolen vehicles and other equipment, KKTV reported.

“Mr. Baroz’s nickname that almost everyone knows him by, at least from what I’ve been hearing, he goes by ‘Psycho.’ I just wanted to put that out there because he is commonly called Psycho around these neighborhoods,” Alamosa police Chief Ken Anderson told KKTV. “I can tell you this is, the San Luis Valley itself is fairly small. It’s a very tight-knit community. We really know a lot of people here. Most of us have grown up here, so now we’re at a point where it is imperative — and I said it already — it is imperative that we get this individual off the street.”

It will take weeks or possibly months to identify the victims because of the condition of the remains, KCNC reported. It is unclear if the victims were male or female. Investigators do not believe the victims are related to any missing persons in the San Luis Valley area.

Baroz has previous convictions for assault, escape and theft, the Denver Post reported.

“He should be considered armed and dangerous, (and) should not be contacted by the public,” Anderson said. “Our main goal is to get him off the street. He is a danger to the public right now. So I am asking for assistance from community members right now: Anyone who sees anything, please report it to us. We’ll follow up on it.”
