Jennifer Lopez is set to receive the Generation Award at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday.
Jennifer Lopez, 52, will be receiving a huge honor from MTV on Sunday, according to People Magazine.
In a news release from MTV obtained by People Magazine, the Generation Award celebrates actors’ contributions to both TV and movies and who have become a household name.
Lopez has been in movies “Marry Me”, “Wedding Planner”, “Selena”, and many more, according to Billboard. Fun fact — she is the only artist to have a number one album for “J.Lo” and a number one film for “The Wedding Planner” at the same time.
Past Generation Award winners include Chris Pratt, Tom Cruise, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr., and many more, according to People Magazine.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards will be hosted by Vanessa Hudgens. Snoop Dogg is scheduled to perform too and it will air at 8 p.m. EST on MTV on Sunday.
