Authorities, who were met with silence when they tried to make contact with people inside the home, eventually went inside and found the three family members dead, according to the outlets.

Three children, ranging in age from 3 to 13, also escaped from the home at the time of the shooting, police said Wednesday. A relative is believed to be caring for them, police told WOOD.
