Tennessee woman accused of biting deputy after chicken nugget-fueled assault on girlfriend
BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn. – One Tennessee woman may have taken hangry to an entirely new level.
Lillian Barnett, 23, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assaulting her girlfriend and allegedly bit the Bedford County deputy transporting her to jail, WKRN reported.
Barnett told detectives that the initial argument with her girlfriend “started over chicken nuggets,” WVLT reported.
When deputies took Barnett into custody, however, she reportedly screamed and attempted to kick out the window of the patrol car, struck her head continuously on the vehicle’s window and bit a deputy on the right arm while walking to her Bedford County Jail cell, the TV station reported.
According to arrest records, Barnett – who has been charged with aggravated assault on an officer, domestic assault and disorderly conduct – has previously stated that she was positive for Hepatitis C, WKRN reported.
