Thomas Rhett spent his time off during the pandemic writing music and thinking about what his life would have been like without it. Rhett was asked by his record label, Big Machine Label Group, what he would be doing if his music career did not work out.

“I would probably have started a real estate company. I honestly thought about gettin’ my real estate license this year. I’m not kidding. I mean, I had the time to do it and I’ve got a bunch of buddies that do it now. And I love the whole art of goin’ in and getting somebody to really love a home enough to buy it. So, maybe in about 15 years that’s what I’ll do.”

It’s safe to say that Thomas’ music career is doing just fine, but it’s always nice to have a backup plan.
