YAKIMA, Wash. – A Washington state woman is accused of raping two young boys after video from a doorbell camera allegedly caught her in the act, authorities said.
Miah R. Lopez, 19, of Yakima, was charged with two counts of first-degree child rape and obstruction of a law enforcement officer, KIMA-TV reported.
The two boys were 5 and 9, according to the Yakima Police Department.
An officer was sent to an apartment complex at about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday after a witness called and reported a doorbell video camera had captured a woman allegedly performing sexual acts on the boys, KIMA reported.
An officer was directed to Lopez, who ran in the other direction, the television station reported.
The officer caught up to the woman and pushed her, causing her to fall, police said. When the officer attempted to arrest Lopez, she allegedly resisted by moving her arms around, KIMA reported.
