According to a blog post from Brevard Zoo, they are seeking the help from the public to name their three Osceola turkey chicks as Thanksgiving time is just around the corner.

The new turkey chicks were born on September 9 and 10 to mom, Gilbert, and dad, Green Bean Casserole, according to the zoo. These turkey chicks are the first of their species to hatch at the zoo.

Our small flock of turkeys has lived with us since September 2020, and although our females had laid eggs in the past, they had not produced any chicks until now. Our tom (male) turkey, Green Bean Casserole, lives with hens (females) Giblet, Gravy and Cranberry,” said the zoo.

To suggest a name, according to WFTV, you can visit the zoo’s website. Submissions are due by October 14. The winning names will be announced on the zoo’s social media pages.
