Astros Announce Minute Maid Park Will Become Daikin Park Starting Next Year

For the first time since 2002, the Astros ballpark is gettin a new name.
The change from Minute Maid Park to Daikin Park was officially announced Monday (Nov. 18). Daikin, a prominent air conditioning company, has a large facility in Waller, Texas. The change will begin in 2025 and last for the next 15 seasons.
The website also said it was founded in 1924 and has net sales of more than $29 billion and its products are sold in more than 170 countries.
