Country music star Morgan Wallen pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment without a weapon, reduced from three counts of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, a class E felony. Wallen will serve a seven-day sentence at a DUI education center, along with two years of supervised probation, according to The Tennessean.
The charges stem from an incident back in April where he threw a chair from the sixth floor of a Broadway bar in Nashville. The chair almost struck two police officers upon reaching the ground, prompting Wallen to be arrested.

Wallen’s felony chargers were reduced to misdemeanors on Tuesday. Thursday’s guilty plea marks the first time the CMA’s “Entertainer of the Year” has appeared in court related to the incident from April. As long as Wallen completes his probation without any other incidents, he will be able to petition the court to have the offenses removed from his record.
