The pairing unites country music’s biggest crossover artist of 2024 in Malone and the man brining back ’80s and ’90s country in Top. The pairing might not have been an expected one, but it’s definitely a welcomed one. Following this declaration, he brought Top out on stage to cover Gill’s No. 1 hit.

Malone is no stranger to collaborating with other country stars, as his 2024 hit album F-1 Trillion features numerous songs with stars like Luke Combs, Dolly Patron and Morgan Wallen.
As for Top, his profile has seemingly exploded since the release of his single Sounds Like the Radio a little under a year ago, quickly making him a fan-favorite for his classic country sound and style. As the year has gone on, the rising country star has found himself collaborating with more artists like Riley Green, Billy Strings and Lainey Wilson.
