Billboard released their “Top Artists of the 21st Century“ chart last week, with 12 country music artists landing on it. The chart ranks artists across all genres based on performance on the weekly 200 Albums chart and Hot 100 Singles chart from 2000 through 2024.
While some of the featured artists may have gotten their starts in other genres or moved away from country music as their career has gone on, their contributions to the genre will be recognized nonetheless. Here’s the 12 country artists featured on Billboard‘s chart:
