HOUSTON — With frigid temperatures and potentially dangerous traveling conditions thanks to Winter Storm Enzo, several Houston-area school districts have made the decision to close. This may include the possibility of several inches of snow, making travel hazardous for most of the day.

The following school closures have been announced for Tuesday, Jan. 21:

Barbers Hill ISD will decide on the status of Wednesday classes by 5 p.m. Tuesday. Bay City ISD’s, Corrigan-Camden ISD, Matagorda ISD, Palacios ISD and Van Vleck ISD’s, statuses for Wednesday and Thursday will be decided at a “later date.” Prairie View A&M University will be virtual only on Wednesday. Rice University, Texas A&M University and Texas Southern University plan to be closed Tuesday. Huntsville ISD has no plans as of Monday to close on Wednesday.
