Riley Green may be living the dream, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t miss his old life.

In a recent interview, he admitted that fame has its downsides—and sometimes, he just wants to be a regular guy again.

Fame Has Its Downsides

While guest co-hosting Country Countdown USA, Riley got honest about how fame has changed his everyday life.

“It’s not my favorite part of the industry. I miss being a regular guy. But it’s a small price to pay for the opportunities I’ve gotten.”

He shared that it’s gotten harder to go out in public without being recognized. Simple things—like going to a gas station or grabbing lunch—aren’t so simple anymore.

Moving Out of the Spotlight (Just a Little)

Riley revealed that he’s selling his home in Nashville and buying something with more land outside the city.

“I’m selling my house in Nashville and buying a house out in the country. Not far, but I just want a little more privacy and space.”

He’s not leaving Music City completely, but he’s looking forward to a quieter lifestyle when he’s off the road.

His Mustache Disguise

Fans recently noticed Riley shaved off his signature mustache—and many were not happy.

“I hurt a lot of people’s feelings when I’ve shaved my mustache off,” he joked.

But for him, it was kind of nice.

“What’s nice is I can walk around and nobody notices me.”

He said it was more about comfort and giving his face a break, especially during the hot summer months. Don’t worry though—he plans to grow it back soon.
