The Q Morning Show‘s very own Katelyn Maida has been selected as a guest announcer as part of the Opry 100, which is a celebration for 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry!

Maida will be taking the stage with Opry members and country music legends Jamey Johnson, Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis. Country music legend Suzy Bogguss has also been announced, with more artists to be named later.

The Opry 100 event takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the Opry House in Nashville, TN.

The Grand Ole Opry is thew longest-running radio broadcast in U.S. history, founded on Nov. 28, 1925 as the WSM Barn Dance. It took on its current name in 1927.

The Grand Ole Opry celebrates and honors the history of country music, showcasing famous artists and contemporary musicians who perform country, bluegrass, American folk and gospel music, along with comedic performances and skits. As of June 2025, there have been over 5,100 episodes.
