Amelia Taylor, the girlfriend of rising country artist Zach Top, is speaking out after facing a wave of online rumors and harassment. In a candid TikTok post, Taylor addressed speculation surrounding her relationship, pushing back on the false narratives that have circulated across social media.
“Being with someone in the public eye doesn’t cancel out the fact that I’m human with real human feelings,” she said. Without calling out any specific individuals, Taylor firmly denied widespread claims about her age, how she met Top, and rumors of infidelity. “I’m not 19. I’ve never been anyone’s mistress. I didn’t meet my boyfriend when I was in high school,” she clarified.
She also revealed the emotional toll that this negativity has taken, including receiving threats and deeply harmful messages. “De@th threats, su!cide wishes, and assault threats” have flooded her inbox, pushing her to set the record straight.
Taylor previously stirred up controversy after commenting on some of the signs held up by fans at Top’s concerts, referring to some as “self-degrading.” She has since clarified that she was calling out signs that objectify performers and harm the self-respect of the fans holding them.
She ended her message with a reminder: “Everything we read on the internet isn’t always true. Learn to love. It makes life a lot more enjoyable.”
Amelia and Zach made their red carpet debut at the 2024 CMA Awards and have been seen together at events like the 2025 ACM Awards. While Zach admits he makes outfit coordination tough, he praised Amelia for her patience: “She’s a wonderful woman and puts up with a lot of grief for me.”
