Saddle Up: The HLSR Committee Showcase Is This Saturday!

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to help bring the magic of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ to life, now’s your chance to find out!

On Saturday, August 9, the Rodeo is hosting its annual Committee Showcase, giving Houstonians a behind-the-scenes look at how this Texas-sized tradition comes together each year. With more than 36,000 volunteers powering everything from the concerts and cook-offs to ticketing and transportation, it truly takes a village, and that village might just have a spot for you.

👋 What to Expect
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the NRG Center, you’ll get to:
> Meet passionate Rodeo volunteers from 24 different committees
> Explore roles in Go Tejano, Horticulture, Midway Ticketing, Rodeo Express, Speakers, Special Attractions, and many more
> Ask questions, get insight, and find the volunteer opportunity that matches your energy and skills.
