Kenny Chesney & Dierks Bentley to Rock ‘College GameDay’ in Nashville

It’s shaping up to be a big Saturday in Music City, as country superstars Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley are set to take the stage during ESPN’s College GameDay ahead of No. 10 Vanderbilt University’s matchup against No. 15 University of Missouri.

The live broadcast kicks off at 8 a.m. from Wyatt Lawn on Vanderbilt’s campus, marking College GameDay’s first visit to Nashville since 2008 — when the Commodores defeated Auburn University. This time, the pregame atmosphere will have a distinctly country flair.
Chesney, a longtime college football fan whose hits like “Boys of Fall” and “American Kids” have become stadium anthems, is no stranger to blending country pride with the gridiron. Bentley, known for high-energy songs like “Drunk on a Plane” and “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go),” brings his own Nashville roots to the event, promising fans a pregame show that’s more honky-tonk than halftime.

The excitement builds toward kickoff at FirstBank Stadium, where both Vanderbilt and Missouri — each sitting at 6-1 overall and 2-1 in SEC play — will battle for position in a tight conference race. Vanderbilt, ranked No. 17 before last week’s win over LSU, will look to continue their hot streak against a surging Missouri squad fresh off a win over Auburn.
With two of country’s biggest stars and a top-15 SEC showdown, Saturday in Nashville is set to hit all the right notes.
