Country fans could be in for a surprise this spring as rising star Riley Green appears to make his acting debut in the Yellowstone franchise spinoff Marshals.

The new series is a continuation of the Yellowstone universe, following Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton as he transitions into a role with an elite U.S. Marshals unit. Marshals is set to premiere March 1, 2026, on CBS and stream on Paramount+, expanding the storylines fans know and love.

While Riley hasn’t publicly confirmed a television role, eagle-eyed fans say they spotted what looks like him in the official trailer — a fleeting campfire scene with a man holding a guitar and wearing a familiar mustache. This has sparked widespread speculation that the “Worst Way” singer has a cameo or small role in the series.

Last year, Riley himself acknowledged he had done some acting on a mystery project set to air soon, but he didn’t share details at the time. With Marshals premiering this spring, many are connecting the dots and anticipating his on-screen debut.

If true, Riley would join a growing list of country artists who have crossed into the Yellowstone universe. Series creator Taylor Sheridan has a history of involving musicians in his shows — from Lainey Wilson in Yellowstone to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in 1883.

Whether Green’s role in Marshals is large or a quick cameo remains to be seen, but fans will get their answer when the series debuts in March.
