Miranda Lambert Inducted Into Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame
It was a big night for Texas music at ACL Live in Austin as Miranda Lambert was officially inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Lambert took the stage to accept the honor, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the recognition and sharing how meaningful it was to hear fellow artists perform the songs she’s poured her heart into over the years. Known for her raw storytelling and fearless lyrics, Lambert’s induction celebrates not only her chart-topping hits but her impact as a songwriter rooted deeply in Texas.
The ceremony, organized by the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association, also honored country icons George Strait, Keith Gattis, and legendary producer-songwriter Don Cook.
The night featured powerful tribute performances from artists including Jamey Johnson and songwriter Dean Dillon, celebrating the catalog of songs that have helped shape Texas country music and beyond.
The Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame exists to spotlight the writers behind the music and recognize the cultural influence Texas has had on the country genre. This year’s class served as a reminder that some of country music’s most enduring songs were born in the Lone Star State.
For Miranda Lambert, the moment marked another milestone in an already storied career — one that started in Texas and continues to honor the spirit of where she came from.
