Subway Sandwich Dispute Leads To Destruction In Florida
Florida Dingus Accused of Destroying Subway Over Sandwich Peppers
A Florida woman is facing a criminal charge after police say she tore up part of a Subway restaurant because she didn’t like the peppers on her sandwich.
According to police, 33-year-old I’munique Clark placed an online order at a Subway near her home in St. Petersburg and used Sub Club rewards points to pay for it, meaning the sandwich cost her nothing.
She picked up the order, left the restaurant, and then returned shortly afterward.
According to the arrest report, Clark was upset about the peppers on the sandwich and demanded a replacement. A Subway employee told her the sandwich had been made exactly the way she ordered it online and that a new one would not be made.
That’s when things allegedly escalated.
Police say Clark pushed a cash register and printer off the counter, then reached into the cookie display and threw multiple trays of cookies onto the floor.
According to the report, the outburst resulted in 37 cookies being destroyed.
The incident was captured on store surveillance video. This is an AI recreation of what may have allegedly happened.

And in a detail that made the investigation much easier, police noted that Clark had used her real name and phone number when placing the online order.
Clark was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. She later posted a $500 bond and was released from jail.
Police records also show Clark has a prior conviction for grand theft involving stolen merchandise from a department store.
