From Takeoff to Tracklist: A Night with Cody Johnson in Nashville

There’s just something about a quick trip to Nashville that always delivers—and this one was extra special.
The day started early with a flight out, headed to Music City for an exclusive album listening party with Cody Johnson and Warner Music Nashville.
After landing at BNA, it was straight into an Uber Black and over to the Thompson Nashville in the Gulch. Safe to say—it lived up to the hype. Between the atmosphere and the views, it was the perfect home base for a quick trip.
A quick (and much-needed) lunch with family came next—no cameras, just quality time catching up.
Then it was time for a little reset at one of my Nashville staples, Blo Blow Dry Bar. If you’re ever in town and need a quick refresh, this is the move.
With some time to explore, it was off to check out a few local shops before getting ready for the main event.
That night led to Star Rover Sound—and it did not disappoint. The space, the energy, the people… all came together for a really cool night celebrating new music.
Guests got an exclusive first listen to a few tracks from Cody Johnson’s upcoming album Banks of the Trinity, set to drop June 21. And as if that wasn’t enough, the night also included a special moment as he was surprised with multiple plaques, including recognition for his single “The Fall.”
It was one of those nights that reminds you why Nashville holds such a special place in country music.
Quick trip, unforgettable moments—and already counting down the days until the next one.
