Memorial Day Weekend At The Lone Star Flight Museum

“The Lone Star Flight Museum will host Wings of Vietnam, a static aircraft display featuring more than dozen a Vietnam War-era aircraft, along with hangar talks, free flight simulator usage, family-friendly poppy rock painting and other activities to honor and remember United States military men and women who gave their life in service to our nation. The exhibit lineup includes the F-4, NASA’s T-38, CH-46 Sea Knight, T-28, F-100 and the A-1D Skyraider, just to name a few. The museum will be open all weekend, including Monday, the Vietnam era aircraft is a special exhibition that will be available Saturday only, weather permitting. Don’t miss out on the ramp action! Shortly after 10AM, the T/A-4 will taxi and take off to make a few laps around the airport for museum spectators.
