White’s former assistant, Kiersten Mikelas, posted on White’s Instagram on Sunday announcing that the house was demolished, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“This is such a busy time of year and coming up on the anniversary of Betty’s passing is hitting in ways I hadn’t anticipated,” Mikelas said on White’s Instagram. “Her Brentwood home is no more.”
According to the LA Times, the house was set to be demolished months ago. However, in April it hit the market for $10.575 million. The house was reportedly listed as a teardown. This meant that future owners could destroy the house if they chose to and build a new one.
The house sold in June for $10.678 million, according to People Magazine.

White had a vacation house in Carmel, California, which sold in April for $10.775 million. According to WSJ, the asking price was $7.95 million.
