According to a news release from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, the recall was initiated after an internal technical review determined there were missing ingredients containing allergens. Twenty-four states are affected by the recall.

The agency stated that consumers who have certain food allergies or severe sensitivities are risking “serious or life-threatening” allergic reactions if they eat these products. The FDA recommended that these consumers should throw the products away.

There have been no reports of injuries or adverse reactions, according to the agency.
