Video: Armed carjacker ties up FedEx driver in Pennsylvania
PHILADELPHIA – Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding the armed man who tied up a FedEx delivery driver and stole packages.
Video posted by police to YouTube shows a man in a blue jacket getting into the FedEx truck and appearing to threaten the driver, who is in the back. Police said the suspect in the video was actually pointing a gun at the driver.
Police told WTXF the suspect tied the driver up, leaving him in the back, and asked him where the “good packages” were, before driving down the street and stealing some packages from the truck.
The suspect appeared to use his jacket to wipe down the steering wheel and door handle, and hit the truck’s camera, distorting the view, WTXF reported.
Police said the suspect was last seen walking away from the scene, and anyone who sees the suspect should not approach him and call 911 immediately.
