Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings and James Taylor are set to headline “Concert for Carolina” on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The concert is for the benefit of the victims of Hurricane Helene, which slammed the southeastern United States on Sept. 26, bringing severe destruction to much of western North Carolina.
The group of artists banded together to put together the event, partnering with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers to use their stadium for the event, according to Panthers.com. Combs, Church and Taylor all grew up in North Carolina.
All proceeds from the event will be split evenly between Combs and Church’s Chief Cares Foundation to be distributed to organizations of their choice to aid in the relief and recovery efforts of their home state and other affected areas.
Combs will be distributing his portion of the proceeds to Samaritan’s Purse, MANNA FoodBank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, with more to be included. Chief Cares Foundation will focus on helping charities and organizations that are able to aid families directly in a timely manner.

In addition to support from the artists, “Concert for Carolina” is supported through the sponsorship efforts of Atrium Health, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Explore Asheville, Jack Daniel’s, Miller Lite, Tepper Sports & Entertainment, T-Mobile and Whataburger. All funds from sponsors will also be going to Combs and the Chief Cares Foundation for distribution.
Tickets for the show go on-sale Thursday at 9 a.m. CST here. For those unable to attend but still want to contribute, donations can be made here, or to any of the organizations listed on the benefit show’s website. More artists to be announced.
Hurricane Helene killed over 200 people, with many still missing. The hurricane devastated infrastructures in several states, including North Carolina, with the western part of the state experiencing many major road closures, making it difficult for aid to be rendered.
At its peak following the storm, 4.5 million customers lost power, according to USA Today. Many in western North Carolina do not have access to running water. Hurricane Helene is the deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland United States since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
