Dingus Of The Day: Take The Pulled Pork. Leave Your ID.
There are many reasons people break into homes. Money. Electronics. Jewelry.
And then there’s pulled pork.
A man from Springfield, Missouri is accused of breaking into a home and stealing exactly one item: a container of pulled pork.

According to police, Josh Peacock has been jailed on a burglary charge following the incident.
The homeowner told officers she woke up on December 31 to find her back door open. Inside, she discovered an empty container of pulled pork sitting on the counter. She said the container had been full and inside the refrigerator the night before.
So far, this sounds like a late-night snack gone terribly wrong.
Things got worse for the suspect when the woman also found a backpack left on her porch. Inside the backpack was identification, which police say led them directly to Peacock.
In other words, the alleged burglar not only broke in for barbecue — he also left his name and address behind.
What a DINGUS.
Mr. Peacock was taken into custody and remains jailed on the burglary charge.
No word on whether the pulled pork was worth it.
