A night out in Florida reportedly ended with a golf cart ride, a fall, and a DUI arrest.

Police in North Port say a man was arrested after allegedly driving a golf cart while intoxicated, resulting in his wife falling out of the moving vehicle.

According to authorities, the couple had been partying at a local club before leaving in the golf cart.

At some point during the ride, the man’s wife reportedly fell out of the cart and struck the ground.

Police responded to the scene and say they observed signs that the driver was impaired. After an investigation, the man was arrested and charged with DUI.

His wife suffered injuries in the fall but survived the incident.

So yes, somehow a golf cart ride after a night at the club turned into a criminal case.

Because apparently even low-speed bad decisions still count.
