Suspicious 'Not Drugs' Bag Leads to Kentucky Couple's Arrest
Kentucky Couple Arrested After Bag Labeled ‘Not Drugs’ Allegedly Contained Narcotics
A pair of Kentucky dinguses may have learned that labeling something the exact opposite of what it contains is not an effective strategy. Reverse psychology might work on your children, but it won’t work with the cops.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, a detective recently spotted a suspicious vehicle parked in an employee-only area of a local business.

When the detective approached the vehicle and spoke with the man and woman inside, he reportedly noticed a plastic bag containing suspected narcotics.
But that wasn’t the strangest part.
Investigators say they then found a second bag inside the vehicle with the words:
“Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs.”
Authorities allege the bag did, in fact, contain suspected narcotics.
The situation became even more complicated when deputies say one of the occupants, 51-year-old Tricia Croley, handed over an identification card belonging to someone else.
After determining her true identity, detectives discovered she had an outstanding warrant.
The second occupant, 48-year-old Damon Bennett, was also found to have outstanding warrants, according to officials.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Laurel County Corrections Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
While authorities have not released additional details about the suspected narcotics, they did confirm that the bag’s label was not an accurate description of its contents.
