Ella Langley Makes History as “Choosin’ Texas” Returns to No. 1

Ella Langley just added another milestone to an already incredible year.
Her hit single “Choosin’ Texas” has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the 11th time the song has topped the chart during its 36-week run. The track reclaimed the top spot from Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” continuing Langley’s remarkable chart dominance.
But that’s not the only reason this week is making history.
For the first time in U.S. history, the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 are occupied by country songs performed by women, with Langley leading the way. Her song “Be Her” also sits at No. 3, giving the country star two of the week’s biggest hits.
Langley’s breakout album, Dandelion, continues to fuel her success. She currently has five songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including three in the Top 10.
Her collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” climbed to No. 9, while album tracks “Loving Life Again” and “Bottom of Your Boots” also moved up the chart this week.
It’s another major achievement for one of country music’s fastest-rising stars, proving that Ella Langley’s momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
