Mornings on 93Q
KATELYN MAIDA
Hey Ya’ll!
I’m Katelyn Maida, a 5th generation Houstonian, University of Houston alum, mom to a beautiful baby boy, and a crazy dog lady too! My college internship was right here in these very studios at 93Q! My love for this city is hard to put into words but dang, it is so cool to wake up my hometown. I’m living the dream and so thankful that y’all let me do it.When I’m not on the air or at all the exciting events and concerts happening around town, I’m usually spending time outdoors with my family and friends. You can usually find us in the country or on the beach, or at a bar! We’re everywhere. I come from a huge family that you might recognize here in town. My family’s boot business, Maida’s Boots, has been open in Houston since 1901 and two of my brothers still own and operate it to this day. It’s a treasured part of my heritage that has helped to bring me so close to the country music that I love. My mom is from South Louisiana – sha – and a large part of my family still lives there. It’s where I spent a lot of my summers growing up and we still visit to this day. Tex-cajun.. that’s me!
During my 10+ years in radio we’ve had the pleasure of doing some pretty cool things in our community and I look forward to continuing that. Make sure to check out Furever Home, a weekly feature on our social channels. Each week I highlight an animal that is up for adoption with SPCA in hopes to get him into a home forever. I’ve been volunteering with this cause for years in both Dallas and Houston because of it’s importance to me.
If you ever see me out, please say hello. I’m a talker… and usually a hugger!

Howdy. I’m Riggs. Your new morning host for mornings on 93Q along with Katelyn and Erica! The Midwest raised me from Indiana to Wisconsin, but I sold my snowblower and here we are in Texas. I’ve been dipping my toe in country music my whole life from my Grandma listening to Garth Brooks and Don Williams on cassette tape, to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and even dabbled with country in Milwaukee, but I’m excited to cannonball into it full throttle here in Houston.
Currently taking up residence in the Uptown area, downtown with my wife of 12 years, Elana, and our dingo, Sampson. Yes, we really have a dingo. In addition to my more than 23 years in the media industry, I’ve also acquired a certificate in positive psychology and founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, HeartHead, which helps people pay for mental health care.
In my free time you can find me on a hiking trail with my wife and my dog, at a local gym, swimming in a pool, or under a parachute in the sky adding to my more than 735 skydives…I’m also a videographer and former skydiving instructor.
If you have any form of social media, come find me – @RiggsRadio

Corey Dillon
10:00am - 3:00pm
Corey Dillon
Originally from Boston but so happy to call Texas my home (again).
I have been inside the radio world for the last 9 years, touching basically every end of the United States from Boston, over to San Diego, up to Seattle, and down to Houston.
I am the best DD…Dog Dad to the cutest Cavalier King Charles, Belle.
You can catch me on the weekends enjoying some craft beers on the patio, at a show or sporting event, or out on the golf course, probably yelling out words I cannot say on the radio.
Houston holds a special place in my heart, the people, the places, and the portions, gimme all the brisket. It’s an honor to hang with you throughout your work day, 10a-3p on the new 93Q.

Hey there! I’m Mason Pradt. I host evenings here on 93Q!
I’m a Houston native and attended college at U of H. Go Coogs! I started my career with CMG Houston back in 2014 as a Brand Ambassador in the promotions department and hit the airwaves in 2019.
I’m a huge sports fan and have been sportscasting since 2012. I’m the sports announcer for Deer Park football, basketball, baseball, and softball games.
